Lucca: Museo Nazionale del Fumetto

Lucca can rightly be considered the capital of Italian comics as hosts, since 1966 The International Exhibition of Comics . Recently, it was finally opened to the public National Museum of Comics , housed in a prestigious building in the historic center. This is the third museum of its kind in Europe after the French and Belgian Angouleme to Brussels. This permanent exhibition will allow fans dive into the wonderful world of comics.
Until May 25, 2008, the Museum will host the exhibition entitled "... when the West arrived in Lucca" , in which the myth of the American frontier is graphically represented by some of the greatest Italian comic-strip.

Seravezza: Enolia

A Seravezza (LU) back the event dedicated to olive oil quality and product typical "Enolia" to be held at the Palazzo Medici and the historic center of the country on 19 and 20 April 2008. Visitors walk along a route made up of tasty flavors of the food stalls set up stages for the occasion, cheered by folklore.

Lucignano 2008: The Maggialota

Lucignano is a charming small town of Val di Chiana, near Arezzo . Each year, the last two Sundays of May, there is the traditional spring festival, the Maggiolata , characterized by the parade of floral floats through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by musical groups. The event is actually a contest between the four districts of the country for the better looking car: Porta Murata, Porta San Giovanni, Porta San Giusto , Way of Love. The last Sunday of May (where the event takes its name) is declared the winner in the district which is the scope "Grifo d'Oro" . The floats are stripped from the flowers that are launched from the neighborhood, creating a unique "battle of flowers" .
