Alejandro Jodorowsky was born in Tocopilla, northern Chile February 17, 1929. Director, writer, dramatist and writer works for theater, cinema and comics.
-jew son of Ukrainian immigrants, he moved to Paris in 1953, where he founded with Fernando Arrabal and Roland Topor's movement theater Panico (book published in Italy in 1978 by Pellicanolibri). Jodorowsky has been for a long time student and assistant of Marcel Marceau, until you get to be the closest collaborator.
